Hi, I'm Rachel, Biriyak's Keeper. I am an artist and writer.

Why Biriyak, you ask? Well, long story short Biriyak is my dagger...well pen, I guess, in real life.

Allie was the first role playing character that I really got to know, truly and deeply. She inspired me to take a long, hard look at myself. What I saw needed work, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. Over the time we spent together her dagger, Biriyak, came to mean so much more than what it was. And, so, it became a part of me. A guiding light towards a better me and, hopefully, a better future.

 

Biriyak is taking me many places, some old and familiar (art and design), and some much newer and far more uncomfortable...yet right and true places (writing and blogging).
